About Me

I'm Denis Siavichay, Software Developer, I currently work in a public institution in the city where I live. Passionate about technology and software development, I really enjoy programming and building quality and efficient IT solutions, I am always in constant learning and aware of technological trends in my professional environment.

Backend Developer

Since I was a child I had an interest in technology, so I studied computer science, where I got to know Visual Basic and where my passion for programming was born.

Later in the university I learned to program in Java, but it was until I finished my degree in my desire to continue learning that through a platform I got to know Python which I liked a lot and it is the technology I use today.

Along the way I have met several technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScritp, Stylus, Angular, Vue, Node, express, now I want to master Javascript and learn ReactJS.

Hobbies & Interests

I have two hobbies which I really enjoy. I like to go out and see places of nature such as waterfalls, rivers, lakes. Swimming and enjoying is really comforting. I also love charcoal and grill, grilling some good steaks and ribs.

I learned a little more about design patterns and development methodologies. As a final work I developed an application that allowed to test HTML, CSS and JavaScript code in real time and collaboratively.

Currently I lead a team of three members and we are working on a system to automate the tasks of all areas of the institution.

Systems Analyst

I participated in two projects, the first one for the registration and control of the institution's computer equipment and the second one to solve the need to register the urban fauna of the city. Both projects were developed in Python with Django.
